Stat Pack Vol 40

Image result for wwe logo 2005

Welcome everybody to my 40th WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF/WWE PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to No Mercy 2006, a grand total of 200 PPV’s!

Since the last stat pack there have been a few changes. On Raw the WWE championship has gone from Rob Van Dam to Edge and then to John Cena. The Intercontinental Championship has gone from Shelton Benjamin to Johnny Nitro and it is now held by Jeff Hardy who recently returned to the company. The Spirit Squad are still the World Tag Team Champions and the Women’s Championship is vacant as Trish Stratus retired with the belt at Unforgiven. Over on Smackdown Rey Mysterio lost the World Heavyweight Championship to King Booker, the United States Championship went from Bobby Lashley to Finlay and it is now held by Mr Kennedy. Gregory Helms is still the Cruiserweight champion and Paul London and Brian Kendrick are still the WWE Tag Team Champions.

This list features the same ten men as this list on the last few stat packs. And they are in exactly the same order. The top 5 are still regulars on the current WWE roster, The Undertaker has only wrestled on two of the last 5 PPV’s whereas Triple H, Kane, Shawn Michaels and Edge have all wrestled on 3 PPV’s so they catch Undertaker up by one show. Kurt has only wrestled on one of the last 5 PPV’s so he goes up to 73 PPV’s. The other four men haven’t wrestled on the last 5 PPV’s but stay where they are as nobody else has caught them up!

These are the same ten men they featured on the previous stat pack on this list. Undertaker still has a good lead on Triple H in the top spot. Glenn Jacobs and Shawn Michaels keep their spots but Edge now rises up to joint 5th along with Kurt Angle. Everyone else below stays the same as they haven’t wrestled a match on the last 5 shows! Based on the last 2 lists, you need to have wrestled on a third of the WWE PPV’s to get on these lists!

This is turning into a big old list of best and worst matches. As it turns out there is only one addition to these lists and that is the women’s bra and panties match at The Great American Bash 2006 which goes right in at the top of the worst ever matches, officially becoming the wost match in the history of WWE PPV up to this point. It was bad. And the ending made it worse. Avoid. No matches good enough to make it into the best ever matches so that lilst stays the same.

Tag Teams With Highest PPV Win Percentage (2+ matches)

1. The Natural Disasters 100% (4 matches)
2= Paul London & Brian Kendrick 100% (3 matches)
2= The Steiner Brothers 100% (3 matches)
4= Lance Storm & Christian 100% (2 matches)
4= Spike Dudley & Tazz 100% (2 matches)
4= Big Boss Man & Bull Buchanan 100% (2 matches)
4= Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff 100% (2 matches)
4= Men On A Mission 100% (2 matches)
4= The Brain Busters 100% (2 matches)
10. The Headbangers 77.7% (9 matches)
11= The Big Show & Kane 75% (4 matches)
11= La Resistance (Rene Dupree & Sylvain Grenier) 75% (4 matches)
11= Owen Hart & Yokozuna 75% (4 matches)
14. The Legion Of Doom 69% (16 matches)
15. The World’s Greatest Tag Team 66.6% (6 matches)

This list goes up to a top 15 due to the addition of one new tag team. Paul London and Brian Kendrick, the current WWE Tag Team Champions, have beaten both The Pitbulls and KC James & Idol Stevens on recent PPV’s which means they go in at joint second, alongside The Steiner Brothers. Everyone below moves down one place. I’ll probably keep this as a top 15 due to the amount of teams on 100% from 2 matches.

Tag Teams With Highest PPV Loss Percentage (2+ matches)

1= Charlie Haas & Hardcore Holly 100% (2 matches)
1= Edge & Rey Mysterio 100% (2 matches)
1= Lance Storm & The Hurricane 100% (2 matches)
1= Strike Force 100% (2 matches)

8= Los Guerrero’s 80% (5 matches)
10. The APA 72.7% (11 matches)
11. The Godwinns 70% (10 matches)

This list stays exactly the same. There are a few teams buzzing around the company at the moment but the tag team divisions are genrally pretty bad. They’re not getting a lot of exposure so there aren’t many matches on PPV. This list stays as a top 11.

Image result for cactus jack

Highest Average Match Rating (2+ matches)

1. Cactus Jack (8.2)
2. Matt Morgan (7.75)
3. Chainsaw Charlie (7.66)
4. K-Kwik (7.5)
5. Mike Awesome (7.37)
6. Chris Benoit (7.28)
7. Shane McMahon (7.26)
8. Kurt Angle (7.2)
9. Stone Cold Steve Austin (7.16)
10. Chris Jericho (7.13)

This list always makes me laugh. There are some random names on it that have benefitted, usually, from Royal Rumble matches. Cactus Jack stays top of the pile. On the last Stat Pack Finlay was in second place but he has now dropped off the list. Matt Morgan, Chainsaw Charlie, K-Kwik, Mike Awesome and Chris Benoit all move up a place. Shane McMahon moves up two places from 9th to 7th after a couple of good showings. Kurt Angle stays in 8th, Steve Austin moves up to 9th and Chris Jericho is a re-entry in 10th.

Lowest Average Match Rating (2+ matches)

1. Terri Runnels (1.66)
2. The Kat (2)
3. Jillian Hall (2.1)
4. The Fabulous Moolah (2.5)
5. Corporal Kirchner (2.5)
6= Candice Michelle (2.58)

8. Adrian Adonis (2.85)
9= Debra (2.875)
9= Maria (2.875)
9= The Boogeyman (2.875)

This list goes from a top 10 to a top 11. Jillian Hall is the new entry in third after a pretty terrible match at The Great American Bash. Everybody else on the list drops down a position. 8 of the 11 on this list are female which is a shame.

2. Triple H (43007)
3. Kurt Angle (30700)
4. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (30525)
5. The Rock (28387)
6. Shawn Michaels (28344)
7. Edge (26052)
8. Bret Hart (24162)
9. Kane (23948)
10. Chris Benoit (23578)

This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage. It creates a top 10 of the best of all time. This list features the same ten men as the list on the last stat pack in exactly the same order. Triple H has moved considerably closer to The Undertaker though. Could he catch him? Kurts overall score has dropped a little due to a loss to Randy Orton. Kane has also dropped a little in points. Shawn Michaels, Edge and Chris Benoit have all risen in points. I’ll always give you a top 20 on this list, so making up the top 20, in order, are: Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan, Bradshaw, Owen Hart, John Cena, The British Bulldog, Billy Gunn, Christian, Mick Foley and Bubba Ray Dudley. The only change to the top 20 is John Cena moving up from 19th to 15th as he continues to establish himself as the top man in the company.

Bastions Top 10 Women

1. Trish Stratus (11564)
2. Chyna (5553)
3. Sable (3875)
4. Victoria (2840)
5. Jazz (2712)

7. Ivory (2464)
8. Torrie Wilson (2384)
9. Molly Holly (1861)
10. Mickie James (1016)

These are the same ten girls as were on the last stat pack and they are in exactly the same order. Trish and Lita have both risen in points ever so slightly but Lita doesn’t move enough to go above Jazz. At this stage Trish Stratus retires as the 29th best superstar of all time (male and female).

Top 10 Title Reigns

1. John Cena – 1st WWE Championship Reign
2. Diesel – 1st WWF Title Reign
3. Triple H – 2nd World Heavyweight Title Reign
4. John “Bradshaw” Layfield – 1st WWE Title Reign
5. Shawn Michaels – 1st WWF Title Reign

8. The British Bulldog & Owen Hart – 1st Tag Team Title Reign
9. Hulk Hogan – 1st WWF Title Reign
10. Trish Stratus – 6th Women’s Title Reign

This top ten stays exactly the same. Title reigns don’t seem to be last long in some cases and titles aren’t even being defended in other cases. So John Cena keeps his top spot and interestingly the top 7 reigns are all world titles.

Most Matches Managed

1. Jimmy Hart (64)
2. Paul Bearer (58)
3. Mr Fuji (40)
4. Bobby Heenan (37)
5. Chyna (36)

7. Terri Runnels/Marlena (25)
8. Slick (23)
9= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (21)
9= Stephanie McMahon (21)
9= Lita (21)

This list stays mostly the same but there is one new addition right at the bottom in the list in Lita. She has been managing Edge a lot recently and has previously managed the likes of The Hardy Boyz and Essa Rios. The ten names above her haven’t managed anyone over the last 5 PPV’s so stay exactly the same.

8= Teddy Long 66.6% (6 matches)
8= Tori 66.6% (6 matches)
10. Armando Estrada 66.6% (3 matches)

The top name names on this list also stay the same but Armando Estrada is a new entry in 10th. He is added to this list ahead of others with the same win record but his client Umaga hasn’t actually lost, the othe rmatch he did wrestle in he drew. So Armando is a new entry to an otherwise unchanged list.
